TOM MARTIN
Tom Martin’s experience in the areas of technology, video, music and the arts is broad and stretches back some fifty years. In addition to owning several large “world class” recording studios, as well as a feature film post-house that supplied audio and effects for a variety of projects (from low budget independent films to projects for Disney, HBO & Showtime), Tom had several records (as a performer) released through Atlantic Records which made it into Billboard’s prestigious “Top 100”.
Responsible for equipping and supporting the various cutting edge production facilities in the Pacific Northwest (Flying Spot , Rocket Pictures, Pinnacle Productions, Modern Digital Post and Graphics, American Productions Services, Glenn Sound, Clatter & Din, Steve Lawson Productions, Jim Bredouw and L.A. Studios etc.), as well as Vulcan Northwest, The Experience Music Project, Microsoft, Boing, Seattle Center, The Frank Russell Company, US West and many other artists, musicians and production facilities… he also worked as the exclusive premiere reseller for Avid Nonlinear Editing Systems; synonymous with feature film, audio and video, receiving a 1999 Academy Award for Technical Achievement.
